Abstract

This thesis deals with the implementation of lean production elements horizontal boring machines as work in the company Prestar, Ltd. The aim is to propose possible solutions to streamline work performance. The theoretical part of the work based on knowledge gained from literature acquainted with the general meaning of elements of lean manufacturing, time and space using the workplace. In the practical part of the analysis using the workplace and assessing the implementation of elements of lean manufacturing. The results are specific measures to reduce unproductive time so that the machine has been used more, which is important for the company.
