Posouzení vývoje rentability a likvidity firmy Baťa, a.s.

Abstract

The goal of my bachelor thesis is an appraisal of progression of profitability and liquidity company Baťa a.s. in 2009-2013. The research will be done with using of selected techniques of financial analysis and on basis of financial results from annual reports of the company. The whole thesis is divided into five chapters. The second one is theoretical part with concrete description of financial analysis, users of financial analysis and information sources for it. Further I will describe financial statements as balance sheet, profit and loss statements and cash flows. I will cover methods such as horizontal and vertical analysis and indicator of profitability, activity and liquidity ratio. Then I will do pyramid decomposition of return of equity, total liquidity and I will define analysis of variance and additive and multiplicative bonds. I will introduce the company Baťa a.s. in the third chapter, this part will contain basic information about the company, its history and producing and sales strategy. I am going to make a horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet, profit and loss statements in years 2009-2013. The fourth chapter is practical using of my previous theoretical part I will analyze financial ratios of profitability and liquidity. Further I will make a pyramid decomposition of profitability of return on equity and total liquidity, where I will mark every each influencing pointer of final indicator. In the end of this chapter I will evaluate the outcome of my research and I will suggest the right solutions
