Abstract
The pacing for permanent pacing in bradyarrhythmias can influence ventricular activation and can contribute to marked asynchrony in extremity. In this work, there’s searched the position for right ventricular pacing according the paced QRS duration.
There was evaluated the system for detection of QRS boundaries based on the wavelet transform and an adaptive thresholding. The reliability of an algorithm was verified by two standard CSE databases. The system was tested during pacemaker implantation in Department of Cardiology, Heart Center, Hospital Podlesí Třinec.
The invented and implemented system is an instrument for an attainment of better stimulation results, and it could prevent a progression of heart diseases, which a treatment by permanent paging cases occasionally.
