Abstract
The bachelor thesis focuses on the connection between the production of vitreous enamel coating, its eventual structure and corrosion resistance.
The theoretical part of the thesis concentrates on the technology of industrial enameling. It introduces raw materials connected with the process, basic technologies and principles of the production of vitreous enamel coating. Besides, the thesis introduces structure, features and the most common defects of enamel coating. Another part focuses on the corrosion resistance of enamel steel plates in particular environments and their usage for constructing tanks for industrial processes.
The experimental part describes tests of chemical resistance of the chosen enamel prepared in various options with technological modifications that influence its consequent structure. Things assessed are weight decrease of enamel and the change of its protective features towards the base material.
