Abstract

The goal of this thesis is to create a tool for verifying the validity of judgements in propositional logic and first-order predicate logic using the resolution method. This tool takes the form of a web application that respondsa to user input and when entered correctly, returns the correct result along with the procedure. The first part of this work will introduce the theory of propositional logic and predicate logic of the first order and we will clarify the theory of proof using the resolution method in these logics. In the second part, we will focus on the analysis, design and implementation of the interactive tool.
