Abstract

This thesis deals with the possibilities of oscilloscope replacement using a PC. Oscilloscope is an electronic measuring device that renders measured signals and acquired values on the screen. The work analyzes various options for the realization of this device and compares them according to their parameters. For selected solution with a sound card detailed analysis of the hardware structure and its features is performed. A program for PC was implemented in the Borland Delphi integrated development environment. The program has been verified to achieve conditions required in the specification using a precision oscilloscope. The last part of thesis describes this implementation, usage of the oscilloscope and gives an example of measurement with this device.
