Abstract

THE CZECH REPUBLIC ENERGETIC POLICY WITH THE EMHASIS ON THE RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES The aim of the renewable energy sources support in the Czech Republic is to increase the share of RES in the country ´s energy – fuel mix. That ensures more energy produced from the local resources and less imports of foreign energy supplies from unstable regions. The RES support is also focused to reduce the greenhouse gases currently produced by consumption of raw resources (like fossil fuels) polluting the air. However the state ´s efforts to force the suitable share of RES in the energy – fuel mix are making certain distortions in the trade-market environment. Based on this fact the aim of the thesis is by using elementary economic models to analyze impacts of RES state´s support on the economic output of the Czech Republic. In the first chapter of the thesis I describe the genesis of the theories dealing with energy resources in the light of economic and social development. The second chapter is focused on the economic policy implementation and possibilities influenced by the RES support in the EU and CR. In the last third chapter I analyze the impacts of selected RES support tools in the economy of the Czech economic.
