Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of different types of textile electrodes for electrocardiograph monitoring. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find a suitable type of electrodes and to create a software application. Cardiovascular diseases have the largest percentage of mortality worldwide. Appropriate and early diagnosis can prevent many health problems and consequently death. My aim was to explore this issue more and was also motivated by the fact that one third of the total population dies of cardiovascular cause. This thesis deals with the monitoring of cardio action using both reference and smart electrodes. A total of 20 volunteers across a wide age range participated in the measurements. The actual measurement was performed six times with a 6-minute recording for each subject. Six different smart textiles were used. P-QRS-T intervals were generated from each electrode and evaluated using correlation and root mean square. The best mean and median values were obtained for the textile P130B.
