Vyhodnocení spokojenosti občanů městského obvodu Slezská Ostrava statutárního města Ostravy s možnostmi sportovního vyžití

Abstract

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is evaluation of citizen’s satisfaction with the sports facilities in the Slezská Ostrava district of the statutory city of Ostrava. I chose the city district of Slezská Ostrava for the reason that I have been spending most of my free time here in recent years. I chose the topic based on the fact that I myself am an active athlete and very often visit a sports venue, and I was interested in what opinion the citizens of the Slezská Ostrava district have on this topic. The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to evaluate the satisfaction of the citizens of the municipal district of Slezská Ostrava of the statutory city of Ostrava with the possibilities of sports activities. To achieve this goal, an interview was held with the mayor of the Slezská Ostrava district, as well as a questionnaire survey in which 61 respondents took part. The last step was the preparation of a SWOT analysis. The theoretical part consists of descriptions and definitions of several concepts related to sports, management and marketing. The individual methods and techniques used for the final evaluation were also described. The practical part describes the district of Slezská Ostrava, sports facilities and sports clubs located in this district. Part of the practical part is a questionnaire survey, an interview and a SWOT analysis. The results of the investigations are followed by a section with possible suggestions and recommendations. From the results of the questionnaire survey, the answers to the question regarding the possibilities of sporting activities in the Slezská Ostrava district were really balanced, with only a few votes the majority of respondents were rather satisfied. The second largest number of respondents chose the exact opposite. Another large part of the respondents chose the answer to this question I cannot judge. But this also means that the possibilities for sports in the city district are not ideal. Based on the established results of the questionnaire survey, interview and SWOT analysis, it emerged that the majority of citizens of the municipal district of Slezská Ostrava of the statutory city of Ostrava are rather satisfied, but there are still a large number of those who do not agree with this statement.
