Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis is the identification of job positions in the selected company Mostecká montážní a.s., as well as the creation of a description of job functions and competency model of project, program and portfolio managers and members of their teams. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of human resources, especially the purpose of personnel management and the importance of personnel strategy. Furthermore, the analysis of jobs and the approach based on competencies, classification, methods and models of key competencies focused on the managerial position are presented. The source for the elaboration of the practical part is both publicly accessible documents of the company, but also internal documents provided by the HR department, including consultation with the company's employees. The starting point for the processing was the preparation of the company's competency model for the subsequent processes of evaluation, education and remuneration.
