Abstract

Presented experimental work is focused on the study of microstructure and mechanical properties of selected aluminium alloys AlFe1.5Mn and AlMn1Cu after combination of forming procedures. Mechanical properties were determined by tensile test. The study of microstructures used methods of light microscopy. Results of mechanical properties show that alloys at 92 % still demonstrate possibilities of formability. Investigation of properties of the above alloys was expanded by the possibility of combination of forming and heat treatment in order to extend their utility value (samples with deformation in the amount of 92 %). Three modes of the recrystallization annealing at temperatures 300 °C, 400 °C and 500 °C and different dwell times on these temperatures. At annealing temperatures 300 °C and 400 °C any change of structure and properties were observed. In the case of the recrystallization annealing at temperature 500 °C a large development of the secondary recrystallization was observed.
