Abstract

Redevelopments of old environmental burdens are currently one of the most serious problems. The environmental burdens that negatively affect the environment include the tailing heaps, as the remains of deep mining of coal from the previous period. To the heaps were also apart from the Carboniferous rocks given gangue with a dispersed organic matter, coal fragments and coal dust. The proportion of combustible substances depended on the quality of extracted coal technology sorting and preparation plant’s process. Due to climatic and biological conditions occur chemical and physical marches in the heap resulting in the oxidation of coal and thermic processes to the production of gaseous components burdening the environment.
