Abstract

Thesis deals with emergency supplies of energy at the municipal level for long-term power failure. The first section describes the basic characteristics of selected types of energy. The next section describes the potential risks in the energy sector of gas, heat and the world´s bigger power failure. The last section deals with consequences of failure with a focus on electric power with inferences for the population. The following are preventive actions with regard to the activities of government. The conclusion is devoted to emergency survival and proposal possible solutions for a small municipaties.
