Návrh využití areálu bývalého závodu OPAVLEN Opava, a.s.

Abstract

The aim of the thesis was to design a new use of the premises of a former textile factory Opavlen in the town Opava – Předměstí. The proposal itself was preceded by an analysis and study of the area including existing buildings, based on available data and personal tours of the area. As solutions were proposed two versions, one of them (version B) was elaborated in detail (situation, connection to technical infrastructure, traffic solutions, visualization...). Both versions contain a draft of mass housing in apartment houses and buildings of civic amenities complemented by the concourses. Version A also includes buildings of individual living in the form of terraced houses. Part of the design in version B is housing development of house buildings for the elderly and building of café, for which was drawn the capacity anylsis.
