Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze and compare the technological parameters of the electric arc furnace no. 5 in VHM. Propose an optimisation method of melting and perform economic evaluation. Thesis includes theoretical part, which focuses on the production of steel in electric arc furnace and production control. In the practical part are analyzed data and a calculation incomplete cost per ton of steel. In the last part of thesis are designed recommendation and economic evaluation.
