Abstract

The dissertation "The evidence of illegal dumps in the Žatec area” with the detection of illegal dumps in this area. The introduction discusses the loading, separation and landfilling of waste, which are given by the current legislation. Also there are mentioned variol models of legal solution of illegal dumps, the possible ways of thein removal, considering powers of control and sanctioning powers. The main part of the dissertation is a brief characterization of the monitored area, which is followed by the description, localization and finding out the situation of illegal dumps, along with an analysis and results from the field studies. This part of the thesis includes suggestions for measures of illegal dumps and their current activity.The text is supplemented by my own photographic documentation. The thesis ends with discussion and conclusion, where we can find an overall assessment ofthe results based on my own research.
