Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals mainly with communication and its importance in security forces. The first chapter is about communication itself, its definition, feedback and communication competences. The second chapter mainly delas with verbal and non-verbal communication in the security forces and this is followed by the third chapter which deals with the required communication competences according to the national occupational framework. The fourth and final chapter of the theoretical part deals with a short introduction to the security system and a description of specific security forces. The practical part examines the required communication competences for working in the security forces and then compares them.
