Abstract
The theoretical part describes the development and usability of modern materials in thermal energy, mainly modified creep resistant 9 – 12 % Cr steels with a focus on the P92 steel. At this steel describes development, chemical composition, heat treatment and its impact on microstructure and mechanical properties. Furthermore this part describes principles SPCT methods for testing creep characteristics of materials by using small samples.
In the experimental part, we discuss the results of laboratory tests SPCT for the P92 steel in two temperature regimes at several loads. In addition, the results of these tests are compared with the results of the classic creep tests for uniaxial tension.
