Využitelnost technických prostředků pro výrobu hasicí pěny z pěnidel vysoké viskozity

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of pseudoplastic foams. It contains an introduction for the knowledge of foams and foamers. Viscosity and the problems associated with high viscosity are described. It discusses how common the use of foams is in fires in the Czech Republic, why users are nowadays switching from fluorine to non-fluorine foams, and the toxicity of fluorine foams. Also included in the paper is a list of foams that were in use in 2015 by the Fire Brigade of the Czech Republic and that are in use today. In the next section, the technical means that are used to produce firefighting foam are listed. The measurements that were made by the Technical Institute of Fire Protection, measurements made in the framework of the bachelor thesis and foreign articles are described. At the end, the effectiveness of the different admixture methods is evaluated and a discussion on high viscosity is presented. The bachelor thesis is an introduction to the subject of high viscosity foams.
