Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the highly discussed theme of power creation from renewable resources and its supply to a family house. From the introductory part the reader learns about distinct kinds of renewable resources and the ways and principles of harnessing them together with advantages and disadvantages of each resource. The heat pump principles are explained in greater detail as well. In the practical part of this diploma thesis I take the example of the typical family house and design the heating system, which can be used in this house. As the heating system I considered the three most commonly used technologies – the heat pump in two distinct variants (soil, air) and biomass furnace. The economic analysis of the cost-effectiveness of the each solution is also included and the reader is presented with all the information needed to choose from the presented solutions.
