Technologická tvařitelnost plynule litých předlitků s povrchovými nehomogenitami

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with inhomogeneity transmission from the surface of the continuously cast blank to the final rolled product at hot rolling process. Theoretical part is aimed to basic description of continuous casting technology, defects on this way manufactured semi-products and formability testing in the as-cast state. Practical part is targeted to execution of laboratory wedge-rolling-test, laboratory bars rolling and analysis of the created defects. Final part deals with evaluation of the obtained results and recommendation to practical application.
