Možnosti snižování vlivu silniční dopravy na životní prostředí

Abstract

The goal of this thesis, was to investigate different solutions of lowering impact of road transport on the environment. As part of the investigation of the different causes of negative impact, the most important of these were described and identified. The causes were sorted based on their importance and of the risk they pose to the environment. The most important cause of negative impact, dust from road transport, was selected and options for mitigation were considered. One of the most promising solutions, the building of bypasses, was explored in a greater detail. A bypass called Prodloužená Rudná, in the city of Ostrava, district Poruba, was selected. Data about yearly averages of dust immisions in the air, before and after opening of the overpass, was gathered.
