Role komunikačních dovedností na zajištění BOZP ve stavební společnosti

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of supervisors’ communication skills in ensuring occupational safety and health (OSH). The theoretical part defines communication and key communication skills in the work environment and describes the legal framework of OSH and the specific characteristics of the construction industry, including language and cultural barriers. In the practical part, based on a questionnaire survey among site managers and foremen, the ways of communicating risks, the clarity of instructions, employee involvement and perceived barriers are assessed. The results show that supervisors rate the formal support for OSH from top management more positively than the involvement of subordinates and that site managers generally perceive the level of communication more optimistically than foremen. On the basis of these findings, targeted training and measures are proposed to strengthen the priority of OSH, to develop the instructional role of supervisors and to support active employee participation, the effectiveness of which was only partially verified within the scope of this thesis.
