Abstract

This thesis deals with the processing of technical and economical evaluation of disposal of mining pit No.2 Mine Barbora, that is managed by the Diamo, sp, oz. Odra in Ostrava. The paper describes the history of Barbora Mine, characteristics of the mining area itself and the reason of liquidation. It also describes the legislation concerning the issue of mine works disposal, construction of a closing dam H9 / 3, filling technology, construction of shaft’s inlet, loft and the disposal of the mining pit propositions. At the end, the economic evaluation compares the projected and actual costs of mining pit liquidation.
