Křižovatka Nádražní - Zahradní v Bruntále

Abstract

SVITAVSKÁ, Lenka. Intersection Nádražní – Zahradní in Bruntál. Bachelor´s thesis. VŠB – TU Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineerin 2017, 74 p. Supervisor doc. Ing. Vladislav Křivda, Ph.D. The goal of bachelor thesis „Crossroad Nádražní – Okružní in Bruntál“ is to analyze the safety of traffic on the current crossroad on the 1st and 3rd class roads and the suitability of the current arrangement. Next to evaluate the possibility of building a roundabout or a light controlled crossroad with respect to safety and smoothness of traffic. The first part of this bachelor thesis is about the current state and about the traffic investigation I made, from which I acquired data about the composition of traffic flows, traffic intensity and the rate of traffic accidents. The second part is dedicated to possibilities about increasing the smoothness and safety of the traffic. It‘s content is assesment of the possibility of building a roundabout or a traffic lights crossroad and capacitive assesment of variants. In the last part there is the final evaluation of the designed variants and simulation models of both variants created in software PTV VISSIM.
