Projekty česko-polské přeshraniční spolupráce z území města Opavy

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is analysis of Czech-Polish relationships development in border region of Opava City and evaluation of the projects dealing with this cooperation as for their contribution. In theoretical part the significance of regional politics is characterized as well as determination and function of operational programmers and euro regions´ importance as far as border cooperation is concerned. Also development of Czech – Polish relationship is described as for historical connections. In the practical part there are chosen examples of realized projects out of Opava described and analyzed. Those projects are divided in micro-projects and big projects according to the fund granted by EU. This part of the thesis also considers whether the aims of the projects and their impact on border cooperation have been fulfilled. The final part is devoted to evaluation of contributions mentioned above and possible cooperation in the future.
