Abstract

The thesis is focused on the valuation of the two forests located in the village of Čermná ve Slezsku and in the village Oldřišov. Its aim is to determine the value of these two forest populations based on the Administrative Approach to Valuation and Market Approach to Valuation and the subsequent comparison and evaluation of the results. Within the Market Approach to Valuation, the price is calculated using the Comparable Transaction Approach, Cost Approach Method and Income Approach Method . The thesis is divided into five chapters, including the introduction and conclusion. The second chapter deals with the introduction to the issue of valuation, describing the basic valuation approaches and methods of property, land and forests and characteristic purpose of valuation of forests, their classification and functions. The third chapter, which represents the main part of the thesis, contains specific procedures and calculations of administrative and market prices, and the fourth chapter compares and evaluates the results and methods used.
