Porovnání energetického využití odpadů a spalování v Ústeckém kraji

Abstract

Nowadays, municipal waste is still insufficiently used source of energy. In developed EU countries, half of the waste is reused to energy. In the Czech Republic, we reuse only one third of it. This thesis presents a comparison of recovery operations in the region Ústecký . The first part deals with a general overview of the current state of problems of production and municipal waste management, including waste management legislative framework. The next part describes the most common ways and technologies of the municipal waste management. The experimental part of the thesis focuses on a specific method of processing and energy recovery of municipal waste incinerators. Finally, I evaluated the benefits of energy recovery of municipal waste in comparison to landfilling.
