Abstract
The aim of the bachelor thesis " Use of the Cross-border Cooperation CR-SR in Valašské Meziříčí” is to evaluate the involvement of town Valašské Meziříčí in programs promoting cross-border cooperation and to analyze specific projects implemented. Another aim is to outline the prospects for further cross-border cooperation of the town. The thesis is divided into five chapters, including introduction and conclusion. The first part describes the background and basic concepts of European territorial cooperation. The next chapter defines cross-border activities of towns Valašské Meziříčí and Čadca. The last chapter analyzes the results of individual projects, their impacts and benefits.
