The bachelor thesis deals with the use of explosives in the decoupling and extraction of stone. The first part is devoted to law regulations and basic terms in the field of stone extraction and the division of explosives. In the next part there are desribing explosives and detonators in the company under consideration and individual steps in stone mining. The main part of this work is the identification of risks and possible dangerous states that can arise during individual stages of stone extraction. After the identification and analysis of risks, followed by innovative design changes and their economic evaluation aimed to minimise the risks in the extraction of stone using explosives.
