Studium vybraných mechanických vlastností polymerů

Abstract

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to study the mechanical properties of selected polymers. Research was focused on the basic distribution of polymers and selected mechanical tests affect on thermoplastic polymer. For this experiment there was chosen a well-known and easy-to-use PC-Polycarbonate Makrolon 2405 thermoplastic and three mechanical tests: tensile test, determining the impact (notched) toughness by the Charpy method and softening temperature by the Vicata. For this bachelor thesis, test samples were made according to the required standard conditions and dimensions. The samples were further plastic-deformed according to the different types of mechanical tests.
