Abstract

This diploma thesis is developed at suitability of structural system wooden footbridges for the increases durability. Thesis is dedicated to the pedestrian bridge to the cyclist. The aim is to achieve advantages and disadvantages of mechanical design depending on life or designed possible measure for increase durability of footbridge as a solution design. Thesis is developed with materials that are appropriate for constructions of wooden footbridges. We can find also the course of experiments aimed at pre - stressed wooden beams what is used in design of the selected alternative design.
