Vícekriteriální zhodnocení zoologických zahrad v České republice a na Slovensku

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with zoological gardens in the Union of Czech and Slovak Zoological Gardens and Zoological Gardens in the Czech Republic licensed by the Ministry of the Environment. The theoretical knowledge characterizes non-profit and public sector, culture and leisure time, zoos, their history and legislative definition. The practical part focuses first on the evaluation of zoos in the Czech Republic with the license of the Ministry of the Environment according to selected criteria. Then the work is concentrated on the Czech and Slovak zoological gardens, which are members of the Union of Czech and Slovak Zoological Gardens. At the end of the practical part, the thesis deals with the evaluation of zoological gardens, which are established in the form of contributory organizations and are members of the mentioned Union. The evaluation is carried out on several levels, according to indicators in the area of economy, according to indicators in the area of performance, according to the level of income self-sufficiency and total indebtedness.
