Abstract

Local government including municipal authorities, financial management of municipalities through budget process and expenditures of municipalities are characterized in the theoretical part of work with the title factors influencing expenditures on public administration in the selected group of municipalities. Content of practical part of work is to analyse revenues and expenditures of municipalities with focusing on expenditures related with public administration and primarily to assess concrete factors that influence expenditures on public administration (i.e. to assess the most important items of current and capital expenditures on public administration). Revenues and expenditures are in concept of three levels – municipalities of the Czech Republic, municipalities of size category from 200 to 499 inhabitants and selected four municipalities for the years 2010-2013.
