Theme of the thesis is performance evaluation and control of a company in electrotechnical industry. The fundamentals of financial analysis are described in the introduction, as it is the main tool used for the performance evaluation of a company’s financial stability. Further methods of value efficiency governance are discribed, like the pyramid breakdown of an indicator and then it is benchmarked within the industry. Company ON SEMICONDUCTOR CZECH REPUBLIC, s.r.o., právní nástupce, is charakterized in the second part of the work. The evaluation of performance using financial analysis is perfomed. Methods of value efficiency governance are used and benchmark of the indicator return of equity is performed within the industry segment in the Czech Republic. The conclusion of the thesis contains recommendation for future enterepreneurial activities of the company
