Abstract

Resume Jana Grebeníčková, Propagation of Uherské Hradiště as a Centre of tourism, Uherské Hradiště 2010. This thesis on the topic Promoting Uherske Hradiste as a center of tourism is focusing directly on issues related to promotion of the town. The GOAL WAS to find a new way of promotion of our town, the town of Uherske Hradiste. The main purpose of all this was to FIND a low-budget way of promotion. In the theoretical part I present the procedure of data processing along with the basic cocepts to understand.The next part deals with the complete presentation of Uherske Hradiste and general characteristics of Facebook and its publicity, which I find necessary to understand the practical part. Furthermore I deal with the analysis of the general presentation of Uherske Hradiste, which involves its promotion expenditures. Finally, there is the promotion system on Facebook, which I created by myself. Last but not least, I specify the results of all the issues that the poll compiled, which helped me to learn what people know about the promotion of Uherske Hradiste and what they think about the Facebook promotion. I found out that that people are interested in becoming the members of our town on Facebook and therefore it is appropriate to use this kind of advertising method to increase the town attendance rate.
