Znovuvyužití bývalé politické věznice v Jakubčovicích nad Odrou

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of a reuse of the brownfield of the former political prison in Jakubčovice nad Odrou. The building is currently in very poor condition. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part, theoretical, defines the concept of brownfields, how they arise, what influence they have on the surroundings, further describes the categorization, regeneration and financial support of brownfields. In theoretical part of thesis are also the natural conditions of the microregion Odersko, such as for example protected landscape areas, attractive places, description of the village Jakubčovice nad Odrou, in which the brownfield is located. The second part of the thesis deals with the methodology of exploration and evaluation of the brownfield of the former political prison. The goal of this thesis represent the third part, which designed a new effective use of the prison area. From own decision was designed home for the elderly, that also cares for the elderly suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The design is verbally described and also ilustrated by graphical visualization, serving to better imagine the design.
