Abstract

The theoretical part of this diploma thesis focuses on the distribution and characterization of the most used steels in the automotive industry. The sections on TRIP steel and hydrogen brittleness are described in more detail. The experimental part is examined the effect of hydrogen and deformation to the mechanical properties of the TRIP 780 steel that were electrolytically hydrogenated during the tensile test under different conditions. In the second half of the experimental part are described the results of the roentgen diffraction analysis, which has been determined the residual austenite fraction for individual samples, and fractographic analysis.
