Abstract

This thesis deals with the change of zeta potentials of collodial solutions focused on diaphragm processes. In the first part concern about common characterization of diaphragm processes and their use in practice. In the next part is desrcibed the most important element of diaphragm processes, the diaphragm itself. It focuses on types, materials, advantages and disadvantages of variuous diaphragm and diaphragm models. In the next part is characterized zeta potential and various types of its measurement. The last practical part describes laboratory testing of electrodialysis with three samples of collodial solutions and also measurement of zeta potential of used samples. The final part deals with results evaluation of measurement and discussion about the used problems.
