Manipulátor pro polohování antény v EMC komoře

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the design and implementation of an automated system for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing using the MRI (Mobile Radio Test) method in the automotive industry. The system replaces time-consuming manipulation operations and eliminates deviations caused by human factors when testing according to ISO 11452-9:2021. The implemented solution enables precise antenna positioning in three axes with the possibility of changing antenna polarization, using stepper motors with microstepping, a linear actuator with magnetic encoder, and a pneumatic polarizer. The control system is based on two microcontrollers connected by optical fibers, ensuring resistance to electromagnetic interference. The implemented software provides an intuitive user interface with an OLED display and enables automatic calibration, selection of test sectors, and fully automated testing. The system significantly increases the efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability of EMC testing in the automotive industry.
