Abstract

The main object of this thesis is to evaluate the financial position of the company JINPO PLUS a.s. using selected modern methods of financial analysis, represented in this thesis by creditworthiness and bankruptcy models as well as to point out in advance to eventual risk exposure of the financial condition of selected company. Elementary and modern methods of the financial analysis are described in the theoretical part. The biggest emphasis is put on the purpose framework of indicators as creditworthiness, bankrupting and rating models, with instructions for their calculations. The application part is aimed at the particular company JINPO PLUS a.s. The chosen models are calculated with company’s accounting data. The particular methods are compared in the final part as well as the whole financial position of the company is evaluated and potential measures for the improvement suggested.
