Abstract
The aim of this master thesis is to create system that can read identification marking of metallurgical materials that are formed by alphanumeric chars. Each character is created by matrix of labeled holes.
System can be used for control of the quality of labeling or taking the information of product from the database.
Detection is using camera to take a video signal. This signal can be processed by methods of image processing. This work mainly deals about image processing. First part is talking about theory of image processing. The next part is about one analysis of identification marking. Another part describes desktop application that can be used for visualization of the data. The last part determines the percentage of success of system.
