Abstract

ŠURINOVÁ, Mária: Design of building services in a detached house with a proposed domestic constructed wetland wastewater treatment system, bachelor thesis, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Department of Environment of Buildings and HVAC, 2026, 228 pages. The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a detached house with a focus on building services and the design of a domestic constructed wetland for wastewater treatment system. The building is situated in the village of Oravská Jasenica, in the Námestovo district, on Veselianka Street. The thesis is developed at the level of project documentation for the construction execution, including both text and drawing sections. The first part of the thesis deals with the architectural and structural design. The detached house is designed as a two-story building without a basement, featuring a flat roof. The structural system is masonry, using the Porotherm Wienerberger system. The second part focuses on the design and dimensioning of the internal water supply, including domestic hot water preparation, the design and dimensioning of the internal sewerage system, a storm-water management plan, and the design of the domestic constructed wetland for wastewater treatment system. The theoretical section of the thesis explores constructed wetlands and the factors influencing their treatment efficiency.
