Abstract

The thesis deals with the measurement and calculation of the graphite and his exofoliation, to crystallinity, and change of the size of the particles. The theoretical part contains information about graphite and its properties and different methods of exfoliation. Also, the work deals with the methods of measurement of the particle size by laser diffraction, which verifies its results through light and electron microscopy. This section also deals with X-ray diffraction, which is used to determine the crystallinity of the sample. In the experimental part, the thesis deals with the preparation of graphite in the ultrasound with oxidizing agent and preparation of exfoliated graphite in water turbulence with the addition of surfactant and their evaluation with the original samples of graphite by X-ray diffraction methods. Furthermore, the work deals with the assessment of the size of the particles and the assessment of the degree of exfoliation
