Analýza ziskovosti vybraného investičního projektu

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the profitability of a selected investment project undertaken by XY LLC by using selected methods and comparing its efficiency with other methods of financing. The bachelor thesis is divided into 5 chapters, including introduction and conclusion. The second chapter is dedicated to investments and methods of evaluating investment projects. For investments, their macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts are described more specifically together with the classification. The classification of investments is followed by the characteristics of cash flows from investments, which include capital expenditures and operating inflows. Subsequently, attention is paid to the characteristics of methods for evaluating the profitability of investment projects. Methods falling into static and dynamic division are presented in more detail. The chapter concludes with an introduction to the principle of sensitivity analysis. The third chapter presents the company XY LLC together with the production equipment, which was purchased in 2019. It focuses on the company's focus, products and a wide range of activities, as well as a description of the equipment itself in parallel with its production process. The content of the fourth chapter is the investment project evaluation based on the methods presented in the second chapter. At the end of the chapter, the limit values of NPV are calculated using the analysis of the break-even point and any changes in the input parameters for both methods of financing are calculated using sensitivity analysis. In the conclusion, which is the final chapter of this bachelor thesis, are interpreted results of the investment analysis.
