Abstract
The Bachelor thesis deals with directional antennas and their directional characteristic. The first part analyses the theory of antennas. Their fundamental features and the examples of commonly used directional antennas and their qualities. The second part describes the simulation of directional characteristics of the working frequency and the measuring process of directional characteristics at a given frequency. In the last part of the thesis the simulation is compared with the actual measured results.
