Abstract

Self-assessment of Seats Mechatronics System Division This diploma thesis is focused on the application of the EFQM Excellence Model in self assessment of an organization. The introduction includes the theoretical bases of Total Quality Management in relation to the EFQM Excellence Model, a detailed description of three integrated elements of the EFQM Excellence Model and description of the methodology of self-assessment, including their techniques. The main result of this thesis is the self-assessment report of Brose CZ, spol. s r. o., completed by using self-assessment techniques – the questionnaire access and subsequent evaluation of the company according to the criteria of the EFQM Excellence Model, including identification of strengths and weaknesses of the company, as well as a proposal to eliminate selected weaknesses, which are considered as opportunities for improvement.
