Informační systém finančních nákladů při léčbě chlamydie

Abstract

The goal of the thesis is to design and implement an information system that will enable evaluation of data from a questionnaire filled out by patients infected with chlamydia. The system will make it possible to track current prices of medicines and treatment procedures used in treating the chlamydia infection. Subsequently by means of aggregate lists it will provide an overview of total financial expenses for the treatment in a particular period divided in the part that is covered by health insurance companies and part that is covered by the patient. The system can also determine financial expenses for the treatment of a selected group of patients that meet one or more criteria in the questionnaire by means of a specialized interface that can read and differentiate data from the questionnaire. Another function that is possible through the interface includes evaluation of social impact on the patient's life after being infected with chlamydia, stressing long-term financial losses.

The first part of the documentation introduces chlamydia bacterial infection, methods of treatment and possibility of covering the treatment cost. The second part describes analysis of requirements for the information system and requirements for implementation of a final product, together with a description of technologies used.
