Abstract

Biosensors based on the principle of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) are more often used for high quality and time-efficient measurements of biochemical substances. Through method of SPRi, which for detection and recording uses a CCD camera, it is possible to parallel monitor and analyzing tens to hundreds of substances simultaneously. This is accomplished by the presence of biological recognition elements on the biosensor. This modern optical method brings many advantages in practice, which are information about the reaction in real time, high sensitivity, and all without labeling the analyte. The aim of this study was to analyze the behavior of SPRi - biochip in routine biochemical measurements that would simulate a practical biochemical measurements in routine clinical practice.
