Abstract

This bachelor thesis describes visualisation of connection occupancy and origin-destination flows intensity on intercity bus lines. The first part describes methods of collecting passenger movement data and existing software used to visualize this data. The second part contains a comparison of visualization methods commonly used for this data and solutions to integrate interactive maps, which are essential for some of the described visualization methods, into web applications. The third part describes input data, used technologies, proposed application architecture and its implementation. The fourth part describes the results of both user testing and performance measurement of the application.
